Labour return to social media and fail

Labour took a bit of a sabbatical from Twitter after their election defeat. There had been no tweets from late on Saturday night until this afternoon. Now that is understandable. When you suffer a defeat as bad as they did, it is to be expected that social media may not be that important, or high on the priority list. But they have returned to twitter this afternoon.

There is just one problem. The link that they have resolves to this:

It is not a great look to have the link to your site for people to join not working. This isn’t the first time that Labour have posted a link that doesn’t work. They did it with a link to their ICT policy.

So Labour have not got off to a great start. It is well over 90 min since Labour tweeted this and I have just checked it is still not working.

Update: Sometime between 5:25 and 5:30 Labour fixed the link.
