As mentioned in my post about National’s social media effort, the Labour Party don’t get access to the Budget documents until 14:00, the same time as everyone else. So they do not have the same amount of time to prepare graphics. However, they have managed to produce more budget related graphics than the National Party. As at 15:30 the Labour party has 2 graphics outs:
I am not certain about the #puttingpeoplefirst hashtag, as, in NZ, it is only being used by the Labour Party, and also being sued by some council candidates in the UK as well. But having a hashtag to go with the #budget2014 one is a good idea.
